Edward Rogers, Principal

Edward is an investment and strategic finance executive whose experience spans full lifecycle growth equity, venture capital, leveraged buyout, and project-based investing. His sector experience includes enterprise software, fintech, energy, industrial innovation, and infrastructure.

He served as a Principal at Ecological Service Partners, a private equity firm founded by former NGP principals. At ESP, he was a member of the leadership team that raised $250 million and led investments across environmental, infrastructure, and water-related sectors. He led sourcing, structuring, and execution of investments, formed strategic partnerships with industry operators, and drove investment realization while overseeing firm-level financial strategy and capital management.

Prior to ESP, he held private equity roles at NGP Energy Technology Partners, part of NGP Energy Capital Management, which has managed over $20 billion in cumulative capital commitments since 1988. Edward began his career in investment banking at Jefferies & Co. in New York.

Across institutional and principal investing roles spanning growth equity, venture capital, leveraged buyouts, and project-based investments, Edward has participated in more than 30 transactions representing over $2 billion in enterprise value, including complex recapitalizations, governance transitions, and strategic exits. He has worked directly with executive teams and stakeholders to align strategy, capital structure, and execution, ensuring that enterprise value growth is both operationally achievable and strategically realizable.

He earned an MBA in Strategy and Corporate Finance from Duke University, and a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
